About the NerdQAxe++

The NerdQAxe++ takes the Bitaxe idea, one open-source board with Bitmain chips and a small web panel, and puts four of the BM1370 chips used on the Bitaxe Gamma onto a single board. The design is published by shufps on GitHub, so many shops build and sell it, and it is set up the way a Bitaxe is: from its own web panel, where you enter the pool and your address.

Per terahash it is one of the most efficient home boards in our catalog, a little better than a Bitaxe Gamma, with four times the hashrate in one box, one power supply and one fan. It runs on 12 V, so it needs a proper 12 V supply with headroom rather than a phone charger, and four chips under one heatsink make it audible and warm: a desk in a ventilated room suits it better than a closed shelf.

It is also one of the most successful solo machines in our record. NerdQAxe++ boards have found real Bitcoin blocks on more than one public solo pool, each paying a full block reward to the person running it; they are listed below from our Solo Block Record, every entry verified on the chain. That is not a promise. The odds at the top of this page are what one board faces today, and most boards will never find a block.

On SoloLuck it connects to the Lite port with your own Bitcoin address as the username. There is no fee and no account, and a block it finds is paid by the network straight to your address. Our NerdQAxe setup guide walks through the panel step by step.

How this page is paid for

The mining pool is free. Hardware referrals help support SoloLuck. The pool's fee is 0%, a found block pays the finder in full, and referral links have been on these pages since October 2026.

Links marked Referral link may earn SoloLuck a commission if you buy; links marked Plain link earn nothing. No shop can buy a spec, a place in a table, different odds or a better word from us. Quick answers

Can one NerdQAxe++ find a Bitcoin block on its own?

Yes: every hash is a fresh draw, so any miner can. At today's difficulty one NerdQAxe++ would expect a block about once every 4,000 years, a 1 in 1,500,000 chance on any given day, and most never find one.

How much does the NerdQAxe++ earn a day?

On average, about $0.17 a day at today's difficulty and Bitcoin price, before electricity. At $0.10 per kWh its power costs $0.18 a day, so it nets −$0.0086. Solo mining pays that average as a whole block or nothing.

How do I solo mine with a NerdQAxe++?

Set the pool URL to stratum+tcp://stratum.sololuck.io:3333, the username to your own Bitcoin address (a dot and a worker name are optional) and the password to anything. SoloLuck charges no fee, and a block it finds pays the whole reward straight to your address.

How much power does the NerdQAxe++ use?

~76 W, by the figures linked on this page.
