Why the pool has no income

A block found here pays the finder — all of it. That is true on an ordinary day, and it will be true on the day the first one lands: the pool takes nothing then either. Nothing is skimmed on the way, so nothing accumulates. The coinbase construction is published on /proof, so you do not have to take our word for any of it.

The operator mines here on the same terms as everyone else — a block found by those rigs pays that address, not the pool. So there is no pot anywhere that the server is drawing from.

What the money pays for

A virtual server in Jakarta, kept close to Southeast Asian miners. A full Bitcoin node and the disk it needs to hold the chain. The bandwidth that carries your shares and relays a block you find. The domain, and the certificates on it.

These are paid privately, month by month, and will be either way. This page exists because it seemed fair to say what the pool costs — not because the bill is in trouble.

What it does not buy

Nothing. There is no priority queue, no better difficulty, no lower latency, and no place on any wall. Solo is solo: the odds are set by your hashrate and the network, not by us, and nothing on this page changes them by a single hash.

Hashrate helps this pool more than sats ever will. Both are welcome. Neither is needed.

This is not a mining address. Do not put it in your miner. Your miner's username must be your own address, or a block you find pays someone else — see Connect Miner.

This is the only address SoloLuck asks anything at. We never message you first and we will never DM you an address — see Security. There is no receipt, no account and nothing to claim; a contribution is a gift toward a server bill and nothing more.

On the word 'donation'

ckpool, the software this pool runs on, has a donation setting that skims a share of every block for the operator. Ours is set to 0 and stays there — that is what /proof demonstrates, against a live regtest chain. Nothing here changes it. What is described on this page is separate from the block reward, which remains entirely the finder's.
