Send a miner photo
Own a miner we have no photo of?
Most makers do not publish their photos under a licence that lets us reuse them, so many models in the hardware catalog show a simple drawing of their kind of machine instead. If you own one, a clear photo of yours helps other people recognise it.
- The whole machine in the frame, on a plain background, in good light.
- The model label readable, if you can.
- Nothing personal in the picture: no faces, addresses, serial numbers or screens with account details.

What happens next
Nothing goes live by itself. The operator looks at every photo first. If it clearly shows that exact model, it is added to the catalog with your credit, under CC BY 4.0 (opens in a new tab). A photo may be declined, for example when the model cannot be confirmed; we do not reply to each one.
What you send (the model, the photo or link, and the name to credit) goes to the operator and is kept on our server for 90 days, then deleted. A published photo stays on the hardware page with its credit. Nothing you send is sold or shared — see Privacy. Our server never opens a link you send; the operator does.
